The present invention relates to a facemask for ventilation and intubation of an unconscious person and more particularly relates to an anesthetic mask designed to achieve effective ventilation and simultaneously help secure the airway by passing an endotracheal tube under vision without needing to stop the ventilation.
Shalliscope has a blade hinged at its tip which allows potential elevation of the epiglottis from a fulcrum deep within the pharynx to improve visualization of laryngeal structures due to elevation of tip which acts on the hyo-epiglottic ligament and lifts the epiglottis out of view to expose more of the glottis. The purpose of this tip movement is to see laryngoscope blade, when fully activated, significantly improve the view of glottic structures when compared with the traditional laryngoscopic blade in patients wearing a cervical collar or anterior larynx.
Visualization of the balloon (Cuff) hence inability to confirm the location of the tip. This project tries to explore the possibility of using ultrasound contrast agent filling the balloon (cuff) to facilitate the intubation process. So, our project will find a cuff which could be used with ETT or LMA and become hyper-echoic or Ultrasound Visible Cuff (UVC) when examined by ultrasound probe and this can be used in ETT or LMA position confirmation as well. care.
Point-of-care, interactive, artificial intelligence enabled hyperbaric oxygen hood/helmet, with viricidal provisions that is suitable for delivering HBO to the patients within the ICU/ward.
